Nathan,

You can't actually upload photos to the board, you need to host them elsewhere and then use the img tag to point to the URL where they are hosted.

What are recommended sites to host personal images?

Free sites. No money involved.

Especially with the forward thinking perspective that I want my pictures in my posts to last in perpetuity...... I don't want to have my posts with pictures seem ridiculous when many years later the site I chose to host my images is no longer in business.

Can a person upload photos to cascadeclimbers.com and use the img tag to point there???

Dave, I think Google's Picasa service is the best of the free upload sites.

Dave, I know exactly what you mean, and I agree with Obadiah, Google Picasa is probably your best bet, as you can guarantee they won't be going anywhere any time soon... at most, the images will be moved to something new google thinks of, but there would be a url re-direct no doubt, so your pictures will be displayed for many years to come!

Adding Photos.
Photos need to be in a place like photo bucket or flickr.
You can also post a page with a picture from a web site.
Copy the URL and paste it with your post
