Wow that is a scary fall. Very lucky man. Its incredible that harness held without being double backed. Will certainly gives a good analysis of their attitudes and some of the differences between rock climbing and ice climbing.

Damn, that sucks to get ripped my the baddest guy in the business. Thats pretty crazy that he's never fallen in his whole career. Even though I haven't gotten into ice yet, it was cool to get some good pointers to remember.

he didn't tear them a new one for the sake of being a jerk, he pointed out major flaws in what they did and was pretty careful to say he was just criticizing their methods because they were unsafe, and then offered to spend a day teaching them.
the man is beyond cool.
