recent TR on cascade climbers has me droolin', I am thinking drive over fri evening + sleep at the trailhead to start early on sat and maybe beat the crowds, and head back to seattle sat night. Alternatively we could walk in sat and camp in the basin below, and climb sunday. Ideally I'd like to climb ice cliff up then ski sherpa down. Anyone interested? The route looks to be in pretty good shape right now, though wx for the weekend looks a bit questionable. But then again, its the cascades.. If noone wants to ski, I'd be willing to walk down, but I reeeeeaaaalllyyy want to try out crampons on my new ski boots :)
Also, I've never been up this way so if you have that would be a big bonus!

Hey, I just saw another TR for Stuart glacier couloir with a great photo of the ice cliff. It looks like it's in good shape!

The crux of the route is in the last photo of this TR.
