Lisa and I are making our way through Europe on a 3 month cycling trip. Starting in Amsterdam, we have travelled through Holland, Belgium, and a bunch of France, now somewhere south of Paris. We want to see the mountains though, especially now that the weather is getting good. So we are making a bee line to the Alps. This should put us in Switzerland in a week or two.

So, we thought it would be nice to climb the Matterhorn. We are wondering if anyone would know about renting gear in Zermatt (rope, crampons, rock pro, etc.) because we brought no climbing gear with us. What would the cost be? Can you rent all that? Also, if anyone is making a trip to the Matterhorn or lives in Europe currently (for borrowing gear), let us know. It is easiest to reach us by email at jonathantoner@gmail.com. Thanks!
