A group of us are planning a scramble of the West Ridge of North Twin (6640' - cars parked at 1000') on Sunday. The climb involves a long drive, biking up forest roads (~4 mi each way), walking across snow, and and then long scrambling up reputedly fantastic solid rock. Descent either back down route or down steep snow. This is a long day, leaving Seattle around 6pm, back late, after dinner.

We don't have more car space right now due to bikes, but would be happy to include up to 3 others who could drive, or alternatively who have bike rack to increase car capacity :-)

Required gear: ice axe, helmet, crampons, mountain bike, car or bike rack
Required experience: At least 3rd class scrambling and self arrest experience. We'll be moving quickly, sometimes across exposed terrain.

PM or email me (most of you should have emails from me over the past 12 months :) ) if you're interested. It will be a fun day!!
