Hi,

I'd like to get out and practice on Sat. I'm an alumni, in case that is relevant.

1. I have some experience but need more practice and a refresher on z-pulley construction.
2. Can drive and transport 3 other people.
3. Missing an ice axe but plan to borrow from a friend.
4. I can bring a rope
5. Practiced crevasse rescue skills before climbing Shuksan in 2007 so a bit rusty. Some experience with glacier travel and self arrest but it has been some time since I practiced.

What time and where is the snow school meeting on 4/27? I'll have to come from Redmond after work so just want to make sure I can make it.

My car situation has changed. SHould it work out, I'll be driving up with Aaron and Chris who were both at the meeting tonight. There's possibly room for one extra small person...but lots of room for gear in the back of the truck.

1. Some experience
2. I can drive and have room for 3 additional people.
3. I have all necessary personal gear.
4. I can contribute the required equipment for a z-pulley system (but note that my rope is 30m).
5. I began climbing in 2008, and my glacier travel has been on Baker, Glacier Peak, and Rainier. The crevasse rescue system that I have practiced is a z-pulley system for a two-person rope team.

1. Never have enough experience.
2. No drive.
3. Got gear.
4. Got gear.
5. Been on glaciers, dipped into a few crevasses, even held a fall into one, but never had to haul someone out with a z-pulley.

Hey Jim, I didn't go to the slide show, but I didn't know about it and I wasn't planning on coming if the weather was good. Seeing that it will rain this weekend, snow school sound like a good use of time. Is that alright with you?

I'm interested.

1. Learner.
2. I could cycle with someone on my handlebars, but I doubt we'll get there in time.
3. I have a harness and a belay device + locking biner. Everything else I'd need to borrow, and I think I've found someone who's willing to lend.
4. Nada.
5. I have zero experience.
