For next week's meeting, Matt Jensen will be teaching a ski tuning clinic - you'll have the opportunity to learn how to both wax and edge your skis.

The meeting will be at 6:30 and will be up at Val and Nathan's house (address will be posted later in the week). I also hear that we'll be treated to some of their home brew!

Because we have limited space, I'm asking those who are interested to sign up here. We'll be coordinating rides from campus up to Val and Nathan's, so those without cars don't have to haul their skis on the bus.

So, let us know:
1. If you're interested
2. If you need a ride/do you have a car?

I will most likely cap this at around 10 people, so sign up early!

UPDATE:

Val and Nathan's address is
13732 37th Ave NE
Seattle, Wa 98125

My edges could definitely use some de-burring.

I have a car and can take 3 others and their sticks

My skis have been shredded by some rocks. I'd like to come and fix those up. Thanks!

A ride would be ideal.

I'm in! I need a ride - probably in Jason's car as I'm in Lander as well.

Well, that filled up fast - I'm capping the meeting for now since I'm guessing that Val and Nathan also will want to participate.

If you for some reason won't be able to make it, please let me know as soon as possible -- for those of you who are still interested, please post here and I'll let you know if a spot opens up.

Lastly, looks like we won't really need to coordinate rides -- Lucas, I'll drive you.

Can I join, but not bring my skis? Are you capping because of supplies and time or because of space. I'll just soak up some info and drink.

Yes, you can come and watch - while space at Nathan and Val's is somewhat limited, the real limiting factor is the supplies that we have (ie number of irons).

I have my own gear, and can bring it if that'll open up some more spots.

Probably won't make it, but I have an iron you can borrow.
