The weather forecast for this coming weekend (Feb 20 - 21) looks excellent. I was looking to go out for a climb, scramble, ski tour, or snowshoe tour. I would be open for a single day trip or an overnight trip and am open to suggestions, but here are some of the things I had in mind:

Ruby, Little Devil, Eldorado, ski Muir & Nisqually Chutes, Mount Mastiff & Howard

I'd be down for a day trip Saturday. Mason would come as well and he has a car if need be.

It has been ages since I've been out with the club, but I would also be up for a daytrip, Saturday preferred. Also, based on the snow (or ice rather) that I encountered today, I think we would have to go pretty far out to get decent snow for snowshoeing. Crampons have proven much more useful to me lately. I also have a car if need be.

Nobody wants to go on a two day trip? There are some excellent trips that can be done if you have two days. If you change your mind let me know.

I would be willing to do two separate trips- one on saturday and one on sunday. Here are my ideas for one day trips.

Mount Dickerman (http://www.nwhikers.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=7981257)
Mount Pugh (viewtopic.php?f=34&t=5010)
Little Devil Peak
Red Mountain (Snoqualmie)

All these trips would require an ice axe and probably crampons. According to Sabrina, one does not need snowshoes, but we may want to bring snowshoes just in case. Plus they offer moderate traction on icy trails. Most of these suggestions are moderate trips. I would be up to something more intense, but no one on this post mentioned that they had much experience, so I chose these particular trips.

Please reply back as to your experience level, preferred trip, and preferred date.

I'd bring snowshoes. I was out Monday by snow lake and it was like knee deep and sometimes more in boots once off the beaten path, not fun.

I've done Little Devil in April with snow starting at the Monogram Lk TH, it is definitely a 2-day trip.

Bring snowshoes whatever you do; crampons advisable.

Me and a friend are probably heading out Sunday for just a hike/scramble somewhere up I-90, so if anyone wants to jump in at the last minute, the more the merrier. Just give me a call at 425-773-8636 in the morning. We live up in lynnwood, and I guess he has to stop in north bend for a craigslist pickup, but after that we can come pick someone up if anyone wants to join. Haven't figured out where yet, but I know a few good places, and I just got the newest editions of Beckey from my Grandma. (I need to have her come in and do a presentation about lookouts for the club before I graduate! she has been to several hundred or something ridiculous like that)

Anyway, in conclusion, hike, sunday, snoqualmie area, call if you want to come
