Hey all,

Would anyone be down for a hiking/climbing expedition at some point this weekend? Probably nothing overnight, just looking for a day trip Sat/Sun/Mon. Totally open to suggestions, just wanna get out of the city and see some more of Washington!(or BC/Oregon if you can stand long car rides). I'm fairly experienced at rock climbing though not so much at belaying, and I don't own any equipment(I might wait until the school year begins). So maybe just a hike, either way let me know!

Matt

hmm yeah weather this weekend doesn't look good. I just checked the forecast for Wenatchee, and they're expecting sunny skies Sunday and Monday. Would you be interested in one of the alpine lake hikes off HWY2 Sunday? I did Lake Serene in June which was spectacular, there are other great ones as well.

Hike to Tuck and Robin Lakes on Labor Day, Monday, Sep.7th. Would anyone like to go for this hike on the dry side of the mountains, in the Teanaway/Salmon le Sac area? I've heard it's beautiful.

We could meet at the U.W. or the Ravenna park and ride at 7:30 AM and carpool from there. I have a car and could carry 3 people. I think I could make it over the bumpy roads, though I don't have a suburu.

I'm thinking of heading to the Teanaway Monday as well. I'd join you on Tuck and Robin if I hadn't just gone up there a few weeks back. I think you will be ok on the road up, just take it slow. Hopefully, scatter creek doesn't start running with the projected rain this weekend.

Justus,

I have been looking for some places to go whenever the weather gets better, which looks like is gonna be monday. My friend told me that I should get out early some day and do Dragontail in a day, which looks like a great trip since I haven't been in the Enchantments. Let me know what you're thinking of in the teannaway, depending on how long it rains I might be driving over there monday.

Yeah, I'm for sure getting out tomorrow. In the Teanaway / Cle Elum area I'd like to do any of these trips.

Teanaway:
Teanaway and Bill peak
Earl, Bean, and Volcanic Neck
Cle Elum:
Paddy Go Pass South, Tucquala Peak
