Nathan and I are hoping to climb Mt. Cruiser this weekend. It is a low-5th-class rock climb in the Olympics (a place both of us have been wanting to get back to). We are looking for 1-2 more people interested in this climb. The approach is 8 miles of mellow trail to Flapjack lakes to camp, then climb the next day. Trad-leading experience is not necessary (Nathan and I are willing to rope-gun), but climbing, belaying and rappelling experience is a must.

here's a link to the summitpost description of the route. ... orner.html

Reply or PM me if you are interested.

That's right Evan, "5.6 Rope-gun". Get the T-shirt out.

BUMP. We are still looking for a fourth for this trip. We plan to leave Seattle at 7am on Saturday.

If I was in the area I would totally join you...but alas I am stranded in Petersbirg. Good luck!

We might do the west ridge of Sherpa instead (much better weather forecast for east of the crest). It goes at 5.5. Let me know if you are interested in joining us. I would like someone with at least a bit of multipitch experience for this one to speed up the ascent a bit.
