I'm planning on trying a trip to Vesper Peak sometime during the middle of this week. I'm not being too specific because I have tuesday-thursdsay off, and wanted to accomodate other people who might be interested in this trip. This is apparently a straightforward walk-up/scramble on the mountain loop highway with lots of nice scenery. The trail approaching it isn't very long, which is a plus for me. It was suggested to me by my Grandma, who has been hiking in the Cascades for probably 50 years.

I know there are people here in the club who have done it, so if anyone has any specific tips on this one, let me know. I plan on looking at a copy of Becky's guide, but from what I've read online you can't really go wrong.

If you have a free day during that time and are interested in coming, reply back here or give me a call at 425-773-8636. I plan on driving, but I live in lynnwood so if there is any way for me to avoid backtracking to the south to give people rides, that would be appreciated.
