I haven't been to the IMA wall for a couple weeks since I messed my finger up stupidly, but I went back yesterday and remembered how much fun it is. But now, I am sad, as the IMA will be closed for the break :(

So, I was wondering if anyone had any plans for cragging during the break if there is a streak of good weather? Or maybe where I can go to another gym for cheap? I can make up for my lack of gear, such as rope or draws, with the ability to provide transport.

Also, if the weather turns the other way, I was looking at getting up somewhere and doing self-arrest practice, since I have never done it. I assume there might be places near Baker or Rainier to try that, but does anyone have any specific areas that might be safe and snowy this time of year? Other people are welcome to come with as well.

I'd also be interested in some self arrest practice. I went up to Panhandle Gap during June, but I'm not sure what avalanche danger is like up there this time of the year, or what access is like if the WR campground ends up being closed.
