Do not use instantchess.com!

The management at instantchess.com, otherwise known as Talanto Technologies, is a Russian company and instantchess has severe violations of it's own privacy policy, as well as often ignoring it's own user agreement. I have never seen such inept and poor customer support from any company in my life. If you are considering using instantchess.com as a chess server, think twice.

They have consistently shown a willingness to reveal your personal data, right off of your credit card, and will not remedy the situation. Furthermore, they will ask you to log in to a talanto.com website when the service is interrupted, ask for your real name, and then publish the data for everyone to see on it's own site. They have left my own identity on a talanto.com website for one week after repeated attempts and begging them to take my information down. I have also witnessed this behavior on many other occasions.

Furthermore, they frequently take away services. For example, I had 2019 days left on my club pass account (worth 19.95 per-year when I purchased it), but they just exchanged my club-pass for a 30 day extension on my normal account. When I asked for this service back, they said that the exchange was made, and there was nothing that they could do about it. I let them know clearly that I did not request the exchange, but they told me that it was done, and there was nothing that they would do about it.

I will be writing much more about my experiences regarding instantchess quite soon. I hope to describe and show you some of the many issues that I have had, including someone making death threats against others in the company forum, and other nasty events. In the meantime, if you are considering the instantchess.com service, either on the mobile phone, or via the web applet-- think again.
