Oct 4 Individual Online CCL Tournament (the Duncan Oxley Memorial).
Registration is now open for the upcoming online individual College Chess League (CCL) tournament that starts on October 14th. This tournament is open to all student chess players in the America’s and we will announce several category winners.
The tournament starts on Sunday, October 14. If you would like to play in this event, please contact Brandon Farrel no later than noon Friday, October 13.
This year’s Individual Online Championship Schedule
Games are played online on Sunday afternoons at 3 PM EST (= 2 PM CST = 1 MST PM = 12 PST).
The dates for 2007 are:
- Round 1 -- October 14,
- Round 2 -- October 21
- Round 3 -- October 28
- Round 4 -- November 4
- Round 5 -- November 11

Swiss system. Four round tourney. Two separate sections. Open to All.

USCF Rated Section, USCF, WCF membership required; may purchase memberships at site.
Advance registration entry fee: $15 students or $20 non-students / at site all $5 more.
Unrated Section, Advance registration entry fee: $7 student or $12 non-students / at site all $3 more.
Registration: At site 10:00 to 10:30AM.
Round times: 10:45AM, 12:15PM, 2:45PM, 4:15PM.
Time Control: Game in 45 minutes with analog clocks, or game in 40 minutes with 5 second time delay, or increments for all moves for digital clocks. Digital clocks preferred. Prizes: Cash and coupon prizes based on entries.

2006 Individual College Chess League Tournament starts on October 15th.
The College Chess League is kicking off the New Year with an individual championship tournament that will be held on ICC. The tournament starts on Sunday, October 15, and your team registrations must be in by noon Friday, October 13. To register, your team captains should log in and update the players who want to play in this tournament.
This particular tournament will be held on Sundays, and it is limited to college students only, and there will be no substitute players. While we will give no cash awards, or trophies, we will recognize and advertise the following categories:
Top individual
Top 10 overall
Top individual U2000
Top individual U1800
Top individual U1600
Top individual U1400
Top individual unrated
Best Individual from a Community College
Top female individual
Top 10 Overall- females
