Seminar: Systems Biology for the physicist
Dr. Alan Dierkes and Dr. Stephen Ramsey from the Institute for Systems Biology in Seattle, WA, gave a seminar explaining the role of physics in systems biology.
Tour: Boeing
Twenty UW physics graduate and undergraduate students spent the afternoon with the Boeing scientists visiting their flywheel energy-storage system and linear accelerator laboratories.
