Since there is no school on Wednesday the 11th, I’m (Chevas) hosting a party at my apartment on Friday, November 13th at 8pm until whenever late. If you feel like bringing something to share to eat or drink feel free, but by no means are you obligated. Feel free to bring your friends. Please comment on this post how many people are coming including yourself so I have a rough idea of who might show. If you forget or have last minute changes, show anyway.
- Location: 920 NE 63rd St, APT 104, Seattle, WA 98115
- Time: 8:00pm (until late).
- Date: Friday, November 13th, 2009

Hey! This week [November 13th, 14th, 15th 2009] we have a unique opportunity. We (CRU) are partnering with Here’s Life Inner City & Athletes in Action to do a sock drive. So if you want to help out, go get some socks to donate and ask all of your friends to donate out too, its for a good cause, and its a great opportunity to show the love of Jesus to those around us during this upcoming holiday season.
Another Way You Can Help
Matt Sheeks with Athletes in Action needs some help. This coming weekend there will be a basketball tournament with 4 teams competing: Belmont, Wright State, Portland State, and UW. There will be 2 games on Friday, Sat, & Sun and Matt needs people who will stand by the entrances and collect socks that people donate (and tell others that we’re collecting socks). Incentive: if you do this you get into the game for free (otherwise you’re paying like $10/$15 to go to the game) so you could invite your friends to do this with you and then they’ll get in for free too. So… consider helping him out.
The times for helping at the games: 4-5:45 (Fri, Sat, or Sun) and then 5:45-7:30 (Fri, Sat, or Sun). Please email Matt Sheeks asap…he needs to know soon how many people can help.
Thanks!
Renee Hensley

We will be hosting a three part series of discussions in the month of October. Part one of the series is themed “Alive” and there will be three simultaneous discussions of part one in three different dorms on North Campus.
Wednesday, October 7th
8:00 PM
Lobby of McMahon, Haggett, AND McCarty Halls
The question that will guide our discussion is:
When was the last time you felt truly alive?
The format is a guided and open discussion about this question, its meaning, and its importance to living. Meet in the lobby at 8pm of whichever dorm you live in and if you don’t live on north campus, pick any one.
