I'm a graduate student in the Quantitative Ecology and Resource Management (QERM) program.

I'm working with Jim Anderson and studying animal movement. In particular, I’m interested in how movement and cognition affect predatorprey dynamics. I’m currently developing a simulation model to investigate the effects of memory on foraging and predation behavior in a spatially-explicitly two-dimensional landscape. For my master’s work, I focused on migration and created a model for the oceanic migration of salmon. The model combines advection by ocean currents with fish swimming behavior to model trajectories of salmon.
