I'm a graduate student in the Quantitative Ecology and Resource Management (QERM) program.

I'm working with Jim Anderson and just finished my Master’s project, a model for the oceanic migration of salmon.  The model combines advection by ocean currents with fish swimming behavior to model trajectories of salmon. In particular, we are interested in spring run Chinook returning to the Columbia River, including the effects of interannual variability in ocean currents and possible direction of approach.
