BSU has general assemble meetings every
Wednesday at 6pm*. We meet in the Black Room of the
Ethnic Cultural Center.
This year we will be running our meetings
using parliamentary procedure, or Robert's Rules. Click to link to

Rules. Also try to get familiar with basic vocabulary of
Parliamentary Procedure.
Most meetings consist of the following
format:
If you are a student group/ student
that is interested in making announcements at the meeting, you MUST email the President
by the Sunday preceding the meeting. (First quarter our President will be
out of the country so you should email the VP
of Campus Affairs. )You will be put on the agenda and
allotted five minutes. If you do not email in advance, you will not be able to make your
announcements**. In
addition, please keep your announcements to your allotted time as we have a lot
of our own business to attend to. Also keep in mind you can email BSU
and have your announcement put on the Announcements
page.
*With the exception of the first week of the quarter (which is reserved for Game Night) and the last week of the quarter. Check the Events calendar for exact dates.)
**Exceptions made on a case-by-case basis. Meet with the president in the hour before the meeting in her office hours.
