11-13-04: Some of you may remember a national press story last year about a police agency in California
that put some questionable decals on their patrol cars. Evidently a sergeant in the Kern County
Sheriff's Office thought it would be funny to replace "To Serve and Protect" with "We'll Kick Your Ass."
You really can't fault the guy - it's down right hilarious. And in all truth, what decent, upstanding police officer doesn't
just drive around all day looking for an excuse to kick some guy's ass? You know they just go back
to the ready room after a hard day's work of sitting around and exchange stories like "it really felt good
macing that guy" or "I felt some ribs cracking when I hit that one dude." Where would we be without
professionals like that?
Well after a few days the decal was removed and the commotion ended. But the question I had to ask
myself was "What if I was to put official-looking decals on my car?" I got to thinking - ya know, I could
drive around and kick people's asses, there's a lot of people that need to have their ass kicked. So voila
"I'll Kick Your Ass." Well, the idea looks good on paper...
