- Student elections were held for the 2007/2008 in early March, 2007.
- A meeting was held on Feb 8th 2007 with Sandra Kroupa, the Book Arts and Rare Books curator for the UW library, to discuss fabric books and book artists.
- The first meeting of the fall quarter was held on Oct 24th, 2006. Possible activities for the upcoming year were discussed.
- The Book Arts Interest Group became an official UW student group on June 6th, 2006, following the completion of the registration process with the Student Acitivities Office. Officers for the 2006/2007 academic year were elected the previous May as part of the iSchool student organization elections.
Some informal meetings were held over the summer.
