- An exhibition of local artists associated with Day Moon Press was held at the Wessel & Lieberman Bookstore in downtown Seattle from Sept 7th to Oct 28th, 2006.
- Book artist and teacher Daniel Essig gave a talk at the UW Library on Oct 2nd, 2006. Sponsored by UW libraries and the Book Arts Guild.
- BIG reps were on hand at the iSchool orientation fair of student groups on Sept 25th, 2006, to meet new students and promote the group.
- The Don Guyot Decorated Paper Collection Exhibit was on display in the UW Suzzallo and Allen libraries in July and August 2006. Bookarts Events Coordinator Katie Blake assisted Sandra Kroupa, head of Special Collections, in assembling the marbled paper exhibit.
- Bookbinding for Zinesters was an event hosted in the ZAPP workspace at the Richard Hugo House on Aug 14th, 2006. Emily Larned, a current student of the Yale School of Art MFA program, hosted the two hour workshop on basic bookbinding techniques.
