The MBA Biotech Club is one of the few UW industry-specific clubs. You don’t need a biotech/science background to get involved just an interest in:

  • health care
  • pharma
  • medical devices
  • early stage ventures
  • any other topics our members find interesting
 
Mission
 
Our mission is to provide the opportunity for current students to explore the roles of MBA graduates in health science and medical technology-based companies, while building a strong relationship between the UW Business School and the local biotech/biomedical community.  
 
Community
 

We spend a great deal of focus on networking with people in the local biotech community

  • regularly bringing in industry leaders to speak
  • organizing company tours
  • participating in events sponsored by larger organizations including: Washington Biotechnology and Biomedical Association (WBBA) and the PacificBioNetwork.

Through active participation we hope to gain the knowledge and network to make a difference in bringing new medical technologies to market.
