Alpha Chi Sigma is one of a kind. Following the original concept for a fraternity as an academic organization, we are the only Professional Chemistry Fraternity. Over 100 years old with over 61,000 members, we bring together men and women pursuing a wide variety of chemistry-related careers.

Dinner at Red Robin with the Free Radicals

For the last Friday of the quarter, we'll be having a low key dinner with officers of the Free Radicals chem. club. All chemistry majors are welcome, and bring your friends!
We're meeting at the George Washington statue next to Red Square at 6, and we'll walk to the Red Robin on Eastlake Ave (http://www.redrobin.com/home/locate.aspx?id=11&dist=1.48) Hope to see you all there!

Alumni Happy hour on the 10th

Remember, we'll be having an end of the year celebration for networking and socializing on the 10th from 5-9. Details have been emailed out, and will probably be emailed out again. Also, check out the facebook group. Members are welcome as well.

Upcoming Spring Rush Events

Laser Show, Friday April 10th at 8:00
The laser show is at the Pacific Science Center. We're going to attend the Queen one. You can either meet us there, or meet us at the George Washington statue (next to red square) at 7:00 and we'll take the bus.


Movie Night at Ian's Domain, Monday April 13th at 7:30
Come to Ian's Domain (in McCarty) and watch Futurama: Bender's Game on their big TV. Food will be provided as well


HUB Bowling (HUB Basement), Friday April 17th at 5pm
How long has it been since you bowled? Probably too long. Why not get back into it by joining your fellow chemistry enthusiasts? There will be pizza.

Our First Spring Rush Event

Interested in joining? A great way to meet our members and learn more about what being a member of AXE means is to come to a rush event! Our first one of the quarter is this Friday, April 3rd, from 4:30-5:30 in CHB 239. (That's the chemistry building which is right next to Bagley.) We'll be making ice cream with liquid nitrogen, so start your weekend off right and enjoy some free ice cream!
