My Work

Currently, I am a PhD Candidate at the Speech, Signal and Language Interpretation (SSLI) Lab,  University of Washington, working with Prof. Jeff Bilmes.

I got my Masters from Clemson University where I worked at the Speech and Audio Processing Lab with  Prof. John Gowdy. My masters thesis was directed towards the use of Graphical models for Audio-Visual Speech Recognition.

My research interests include, graphical models, semi-supervised learning, multi-sensory processing/fusion. I also like applying graphical models to problems such as automatic speech recognition, activity recognition using wearable sensors. In the past, I have worked in areas such as automatic microphone array calibration and facial feature tracking.

I was recently awarded the Microsoft Fellowship.
