Responsibilities of each group

 

NOW (person responsible)

• NOW: Get volunteers for day of panel, at least 2 but 3 is ideal and send names to Kathleen (panelist coordinator)
• NOW: Advertise panel (Joyce)

DUE Tuesday, January 9 (person responsible)

• Get panelist slides for posting on web (panelist coordinator with help from Jennifer)
• Get handouts (if panelists are providing them) and make copies for attendees (panelist coordinator)
• Confirm date, time and location with panelists (panelist coordinator)
  
• Get written permission (email is fine) from panelists to audio record the panels (panelist coordinator)
  
• Confirm volunteers (panelist coordinator)
  
• Make placards for panelists (panelist coordinator with help from Joyce)
  
• Write thank you cards for panelists (panelist coordinator with help from Joyce)
  

DUE Day of Panel (person responsible)

• Audio record the panel (Jennifer)
  
• Arrange Refreshments for panelists and attendees (panelist coordinator with help from Beth)
• Provide placards for panelists (panelist coordinator with help from Joyce)
  
• Get parking passes (panelist coordinator with help from Beth)
  
• Arrange for honorarium payment if necessary (panelist coordinator with help from Beth)
  
• Confirm volunteers are at the panel (panelist coordinator)
  
• Distribute handouts if panelists provide them (panelist coordinator)
  
• Introduce panel and speakers (panelist coordinator)
  
• Facilitate Q&A (panelist coordinator)
  
• Provide thank you gift bags with thank you cards to each panelists (panelist coordinator with help from Kathleen)

• Attend post-iCareer Week meeting (panelist coordinator)
