Andrew O'Connor, Webmaster
  • Residential MLIS 2010
  •
  • Biography: Andrew worked as an educator at a small and underfunded community college where he discovered that access to information, like any other resource, has alot to do with a person's socio-economic status. This experience left him with a passion for promoting equality in information access. He received his degree in Intellectual History from UC Berkeley where he developed a strong interest in how people perceive and assimilate information. He is now working to combine his two interests by creating tools that allow compelling and equitable digital access to museum and library collections.
