My involvement with mental health in community:

I am a student volunteer in NAMI Greater Seattle's support group run by Dr. Helen "Trez" Buckland for youth with psychotic illnesses, since Jan '16 to current: "Appreciative Living and Learning Circle."

I participated in the NAMI Walk for raising awareness against stigma around mental illness, Kirkland, Washington on June 4th, 2016 and on June 3rd, 2017!

I was a student volunteer for HSPA (Huskies Suicide Prevention and Awareness) at the H3 walk (Husky, Help & Hope) for suicide prevention at UW on April 30th, 2016 and on May 20th, 2017!

As of March 2017, I am certified and trained in Mental health First-Aid to recognize and provide immediate suport for youth and adults in crisis and connect them to next level of professional support.

I have safeTALK training for suicide alertness and UW GreenDot bystander intervention training for violence prevention, Winter'16.

I was a volunteer research assistant on a project for outpatients with schizophrenia at the Atlanta Veteran's Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) from Jan'14- Jun'15
