Preserve, process, and write a finding aid for a photograph collection. You'll also get the opportunity to learn EAD (Encoded Archival Description).

Seattle Municipal Archives
The Archives provides a variety of volunteer opportunities - you might scan negatives, arrange records, catalog photographs, or work with motion picture slides. For more information, contact Scott Cline, City Archivist.

King County Archives
Potential activities include preservation of photographs and papers, working on inventories and indexes, or compiling histories of King County agencies; activities will be tailored to your specific interests.

National Archives and Records Administration (Pacific Alaska Region)
Volunteers may assist with processing and creating finding aids for NARA's collections, as well as identifying and preserving photographs.
