- Sandra Kroupa Talk -- update (Janet Polata)
Presentation by Sandra Kroupa (aimed at distance MLIS students) on the intersection of text and images in the book arts. - Rand Jimerson Talk -- update (Linda Wagner)
Time and date of this event is to be determined. APC will ask Jimerson to speak about WWU programs and the archives profession in general. It was noted that Sarah Nelson from NARA may also attend [Sarah was one of our iCareer Week panelists] - Audio Archiving Panel -- update (Linda Wagner and Spencer Lamm)
John Seman (EMP) and John Gibbs (UW Libraries) confirmed. Spencer is working on securing a third panelist if EXP can't join. KEXP seems unlikely at this point. A date needs to be set -- in week 5 or 6 -- April 25th or May 2nd at 3pm. Carolyn recommended KUOW as a source for a potential third panelist. Linda will get a contact name from Marie Potter. - Poster for the Samuel Brylawski Talk -- update (Carolyn Dunford)
Working with Jeff Teitelbaum on the details of this talk. Carolyn will seek a designer for a poster. - Urban Archives talk -- update (Linda Wagner)
Tom D. may not be able to give a presentation because of his work schedule. APC hopes to schedule a talk by him and will be flexible with his schedule. - APC Elections (Linda Wagner)
We will coordinate our elections with SALA (the UW Student Chapter of ALA). SALA will set up a Catalyst election page and provide the URL. There was some discussion about dividing up positions to include anyone who is interested in being an officer. - Megan Peacock spoke about the upcoming NW Archives Conference [May 17-20] and car pool arrangements with fellow classmates.
