Being one of the oldest chapters on the West coast...
is what makes Gamma Alpha here at the University of Washington unique. Unlike a few of the freshman 500-person
lecture classes, the people here at APO UW actually make you feel like a part of the group. Like a part of the family.
We encourage branching into the UW campus, Puget Sound
community, US, and world-wide groups. Here in Section XI
we hold strong ties with APO chapters around the globe.
You won't be just another face and name. You'll be an accepted brother that we look forward to
having a great time promoting leadership, friendship, and especially service.
Alpha Phi Omega offers numerous opportunities for you. We offer you a series of creative situations in which to develop
your leadership skills, lasting friendships both on your campus and across the country, and a way in
which to give of yourself as an active participant in a meaningful service program designed to help others. Before
joining any organization, you probably ask yourself "Is it worth my time?" and "What's in it for me?"
I hope that this page
as well as the other sources in this site will provide you with more information about our principles, purpose and program.
We believe that you will find Alpha Phi Omega is worthwhile and that the opportunities we offer will be a valuable part of your
college experience. We really hope you will consider making APO here at the UW a part of your life.
