Work
As a project manager, you will work alongside the VP of Operations on all quarterly events that the UWAMA hosts, such as the Etiquette Dinner and the PRISM Dinner. Examples of tasks are: finding a vendor, caterer, etc.
Around 5 hours a week

Gain hands-on experience with project management, event-planning, advertising, and marketing high-budgeted events!

Brand Ambassadors

Work
Assisting the VP of Marketing with brainstorming and executing weekly and quarterly event marketing, as well as miscellaneous UWAMA marketing campaigns.
Around 3 hours a week

This week, Adam Broetje- CEO of Odd Dog Media- will be speaking with us on the "Creative Process." More specifically, he will be covering digital marketing campaigns, the differences between corporate & small business campaigns, and how the creative process is sold & measured. An outline of the discussion points: 1) Nothing starts without a goal & method to measure success. 2) Numbers drive strategy, strategy drives creative. 3) Constantly managing SCOPE. 4) The fun part: Keeping the client from screwing it all up. 5) You're too close to the metrics, make it simpler.
