and the UW Medical Center's cardiology department. Cardiac Care is part of the
Alpha Phi Foundation and its commitment to women. The specific
purpose of Cardiac Care is the research, education, and treatment of heart disease,
which is the number one cause of death in the United States. Alpha Phi's annual Greek Community
Philanthropy is Alpha Phi-fa, which is a soccer tournament with other inter-fraternity
competitions. Alpha Phi-fa benefits Alpha Phi Foundation as well.
