A.L.M.A. is a non-profit student body organization based at the University of Washington. A.L.M.A. is composed of undergraduate and graduate students involved in the health professions and health related sciences. We are an inclusive organization, representing a wide range of cultural and ethnic experiences.

Our primary purpose is to advance the understanding of the healthcare needs in underserved and underrepresented Latin American Communities globally and locally. We believe that cultural competency in healthcare is a vital discipline. We aim to empower future healthcare professionals to become leaders in creating a more effective and equitable healthcare system.
