In ALISS news, we have the booksale and ALISS elections coming up in the near future. You may have seen booksale donation boxes at locations around campus, including in the iSalon. Donations will be accepted until February 10th, and the sale will be held February 16th and 17th from 8 to 5 in the By George lobby. Contact Blair Austin, ALISS Secretary, at blaira@u.washington.edu, with any questions or to schedule a large pickup. The booksale funds the spring fling and events throughout the year.
In other news, ALISS elections will be coming up soon. The positions up for election are President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer. There is also a distance representative, an evening representative, and an alumni association representative. There will also be a GPSS senator position open.
