ALISS Open Meeting

Items Discussed:

1. Marie Potter, Joe Janes, Matt Saxton, and Harry Bruce were available for a question and answer time. Topics of discussion included the iSchool Strategic Planning Process, the importance of directed fieldwork, competition in the job market, and upcoming courses and program offerings.
3. Sarah reminded students about the ALISS Book Sale on February 13 and 14 in By George.
4. Sarah also encouraged students to nominate themselves and others for student organization officer positions in 2007-2008. An email was sent with the position descriptions and nomination form.
5. Students were welcome to stay to eat snacks, network, and discuss Spring quarter registration.
