Convocation: (raised by C. Krub) ALISS will be involved in funding gifts for students on the convocation committee, gifts for the office staff, and awards given by the student awards committee. ALISS representatives on the awards committee are Keely Merrigan and Cynde Moya. ALISS will also seek funding assistance for convocation from other student groups.

Class pictures: (raised by C. Krub) ALISS will sponsor class pictures to be taken before the spring picnic on June 4^th. Students will pay for their pictures and the postage to have them mailed. Sayumi and Casey will investigate photographer options.

T-shirts and sweatshirts: (raised by C. Krub) ALISS will create t-shirts and sweatshirts with the school and university logos for a fundraiser. Casey is working with a graphic designer. The target date for the shirts is on or before June 4^th.

Unfilled positions: (raised by S. Irey) ALISS still needs two GPSS senators, an evening degree liason, and an admissions committee member. Official announcements will be made, and Kirk and Sayumi will seek out potential candidates for their former posts.

Transition files: (raised by C. Krub) It was suggested that all ALISS officers and committee members prepare information detailing their positions to be given over to incoming ALISS officers next year in order to smooth the transition.

Student organization information: (raised by S. Squires) ALISS and ASIS will seek out the rules, regulations, and benefits for official U.W. student organizations.

Student picnic: (raised by C. Kvenild) ALISS will sponsor an end of school picnic for SLIS students, faculty and staff to be held June 4^th. The Sylvan Grove Theatre has been reserved. Cass is investigating other details (food, liquor license, entertainment) and Amy Scott will propose an events budget. ALISS will seek potential co-sponsorship from other student groups and the school.

Student Web Directory: (raised by C. Krub) Scott Barker has proposed that ALISS maintain a web directory of students based on a model he has. It was decided that Casey will send more information to ALISS officers and committee members, and that there will be further discussion about who will be responsible for updating and maintaining the database. Privacy issues were also discussed.

Homepage in SLIS IT Labs: (raised by H. Brook) There was discussion about the automatic homepage in the labs -- whether it should be the SLIS page or the ALISS page. The need for a student-centered entry point of some sort was discussed. Casey will discuss this issue with Scott Barker.
