Guten Tag!

Thanks for visiting my web site. This space is mostly dedicated to updating everyone about my life in graduate school, although I'm afraid the information here is never truly up-to-date.

Below is a summary of what can be found on this site.

Research

moth

I'm currently a third-year graduate student in the biology department at the University of Washington. I'm working in the Daniel Lab, investigating how moths use vision and mechanoreception to stabilize flight. More detailed information about my project can be found on the research page.

Photography

A large portion of my online photo gallery is dedicated to my attempts at getting up close & personal with various arthropods. The gallery also features images from recent vacations to places such as the Provence or Kauai. Please check it out and leave comments if you wish.

Videos

There's not too much in this category yet, but I've played around recently with time-lapse videography, as well as our lab's high-speed video cameras. Some examples are posted on the Video page. Hopefully I'll find time to keep adding small video projects.
