There are over 50 Alpha Gamma Delta Foundation scholarships available each year to members of Alpha Gamma Delta. You only need to turn in one application to be considered for all scholarships. Each scholarship is awarded based on different criteria (many are chapter specific). Two listed here are only available to members of Iota chapter. Patricia Houck Holvick Scholarship
Distributed by: Alpha Gamma Delta Foundation
Amount Awarded: Depends on interest earned. Could be divided between recipients.
Distribution: Personally mailed a check in July or August (must return paperwork received in May before check is sent)
Application Due: March 1, 2008
Award Date: Confirmation letter in May
Eligible Recipients: Sophomore, Junior or Senior
Scholarship Focus: Grades & participation in chapter and community

Iota Endowed Scholarship

Amount Awarded: Varies from year to year
Distribution: Over 3 quarters to the University of Washington
Application Due: March 25, 2008
Award Date: IRD-April 16, 2008 (winner needs to be present)
Eligible Recipients: Entering Junior or Senior at U of W
Scholarship Focus: Academics, fraternity involvement, activities, leadership, essay

Seattle Alumnae Panhellenic Scholarship
Distributed by: Seattle Alumnae Panhellenic Association
Amount Awarded: $1,000 per person, up to two per chapter (number distributed varies each year)
Distribution: Fall quarter to the University of Washington
Application Due: April 16, 2008
Award Date: May, 2008
Eligible Recipients: Entering Junior or Senior at U of W
Scholarship Focus: Grades, sorority participation, campus involvement

You must be a member in good standing of Iota chapter to receive any of these scholarships.
