Upon graduation from college, Delta members (active Sisters) complete a special ritual called Jewel Degree which marks the transition to a Pi member (post-collegiate Sister). This transition is a time to honor the time spent in college, and celebrate the new opportunities available to an Alpha Delta Pi member throughout her life.
Alpha Delta Pi alumnae can be found in top positions in government, education, the medical field, and entertainment (see Famous ADPi's page). Our sorority prides itself throughout the college experience in teaching our young ladies the skills necessary to make an impact on the world, to become successes in business and personal life. No matter where our Sisters go, Alpha Delta Pi sorority Sisters will be there – even in many overseas countries.
 Alpha Delta Pi has hundreds of organized alumnae chapters, to which any alumna in good standing may belong. This offers a life-long association with sisters, and provides educational programs and entertaining events which celebrate our heritage and fosters friendship and fun. Each local alumnae chapter also sponsors service projects and often works closely with nearby collegiate chapters, teaching our heritage and assisting collegiate members in any way needed. Many of our Sisters also continue volunteering for our national philanthropy The Ronald McDonald House, or become collegiate advisors for Delta members in college.
Alpha Delta Pi also continues to recognize excellence of members throughout their life. The sorority recognizes women who make outstanding contributions to community, profession, and alumna loyalty for service to chapters. Please see our national website for more information.
