President

The President acts as a figurehead, organizes meetings, and does anything else we can think of that he should be responsible for. Most importantly, the Pres. gets to announce what we're showing each week.

Andrew

Known as Andrew Mk. II and "The Random Idea Generator"

Will capture anything resembling a Tachikoma to add to his collection. Handle with Care.

Red Tape

The Red Tape officer gets to deal with bureaucracy; ensuring that we have a room to have showings and an office to vegetate in is his most important job. Mostly, he gets to run around like a headless chicken for the first two weeks of every quarter, then vegetate. Although with the advent of the room request on the internet, there is much less running. He also deals with anything involving the Business and SA offices.

Public Relations

The Public Relations officer is in charge of getting the word out to the campus as a whole that there is an anime club, and gets to design nifty flyers. She's also planning on some activities to liven up the club!

Sarah

I'm a maybe Music, maybe Japanese Studies major(we'll see...) all the way from this magic place called the Northeast. I love kitties and all things cute and pretty. I like most genres of manga, anime, and video games, although I have an interesting taste in games(Harvest Moon!!). Also, I’d definitely say I was “obsessed” with CLAMP. Fun fact: my hair has been every color of the rainbow and all the natural colors.

Internet

The Internet officer administers the ADP mailing list, monitors the club's email, and takes on the responsibility for keeping the club website updated, as well as emailing out "Wrath of the ADP" late notices. He gets to be the bad guy when members are being naughty.

Daniel

An informatics and psychology double degree student who enjoys all sorts of anime, music, and games.

Treasurer

The Treasurer will be keeping track of our club funds and their usage, meaning that we're all very nice to him if we want to be able to do anything. He also has the all-important job of checking our mailbox, where tapes occasionally find their way to.

Andrew

No definite preferences for genre of anime; I like it all!

Librarian

The Librarian is in charge of collecting new materials for the library, speaking to fansubbers and members who want to contribute to our collection. He plans out the showings, and gets to exercise dictatorial control over what we watch.

Joy

Current Major: PreMajor, considering Japanese Language and Linguistics

Likes/Interests: Anime (One Piece!), manga, Kaze no Tani no Nausicaa, writing fanfiction (which never seem to get finished)

Dislikes: Cigarette smoke and fangirls (otaku are okay)

The AV officer is a member of the club who also works for the UW CSS, meaning he has permission to run shows for us. Without him, we have no showings. Thus, we like him very much.

Well, since I've been on this page for quite a while now, I guess I finally ought to write something here.

I joined the ADP as a freshmen in fall of 2008. I've been interested in anime since sometime in elementary school. I became what I would consider to be a relatively serious fan starting in high school, where I was president of the Anime club senior year. As many people in the club know, I tend to leave things in the club room, so if I do, you can send me an email if you feel like it. Whether you do or not, I'll probably come down to pick it up sometime in the next few days.

The volunteers are the wonderful host of people that help the officers keep the office open and help out during the showings. Without volunteers, this club would have much less mobility and action.

Top fact, I'm the elder twin and left handed. All around interests in anime, manga and gaming I suppose. My most favorite genre is romance/comedies but I'm fine with most other genres too (I have a soft spot for shoujos). I also do cosplaying which if you do too, awesome, but I tend to pick twin cosplays for an obvious reason because actual twins cosplaying twins is a rare sight and something to be taken advantage of!

Other things I guess is I'm an ME major and 3rd year progressionwise. Oh, I like to bake things for people although my skills aren't the greatest and I have a give and take relationship with my oven, but will still attempt and am happy when people enjoy them!

Majoring in Electrical Engineering. Most the anime he likes you'll probably like, but half of the anime you love, he will hate. Not really fond of any particular genre of anime, but dislikes most with no particular storyline. Besides anime, he is also interested in philosophy.
